Fitness facilities

There are many reasons to come to Hotel Münnich. One reason may be for physical fitness. Our hotel not only offers forest hikes or walks along the canal, it also has a mini-fitness room on the premises. Here you can get in a good workout.
Many of our regular guests like to rent bicycles directly from the hotel, and explore the surrounding region. That’s a workout too!

  • Ergometer

The ergometer mainly trains endurance. In addition, the leg, thigh and buttock muscles are trained, as well as the abdominal muscles and the back.

  • Crosstrainer

Crosstrainers combine the advantages of jogging and climbing stairs without the impact forces that occur at the moment of contact with the ground. This makes the training much gentler on the joints.

  • Rowing machine

When working out with a rowing machine, the large back muscle, the trapezius muscle and the lower back are trained. Furthermore, pushing off with the legs works the thighs and calves, which makes rowing training a balanced whole-body workout.

  • Kettlebell

Kettlebell training activates many muscle groups in a short time, and the workout with the kettlebell also improves coordination skills and body awareness.

  • Dumbbells

Dumbbell training is the ideal strength building programme, it is very effective and extremely versatile

  • Fitness bands

Resistance bands are used for exercises that aim to strengthen any area of the body without putting strain on the joints. While other exercises tend to focus on larger muscle groups, fitness band exercises can be good for smaller muscle groups that also act as stabilisers.
